Acharya Simon Luna
Memorial fund: In response to several inquiries as to how we may honor Simon, we have established the Simon Luna Memorial Trust Fund. One hundred percent of donations to the fund will be given to the Shambhala Center in Santiago, Chile which was Simon's home in his last years on earth.

Simon's sisters, Mary Louise and Juanita, and his daughter Sarah are tremendously grateful for the outpouring of heartfelt affection and tributes for Simon. We are overwhelmed by the postings on the websites, e-mails, cards, letters and phone calls from all over the world which have shown our collective love for him. Simon's legacy is enormous and will continue in our lives forever.

Simon was born April 28, 1945 in San Antonio, Texas. His parents were Maria Luisa and Simon J. Luna (both deceased). He is survived by his daughter Sarah Luna of Boulder, Colorado, and his sisters Juanita Carmela Luna of San Francisco, CA and Mary Louise Luna of Tucson, Az.
