Ben Pontius

Dear Comrade:
With an ancient name
like to be spoken from Shakespeare's lips.
Standing watch--
tea cup or chamber pot,
sake, cigarette,
smiling from a far away off.
That smile like Lord Mukpo's.
Hearing that you died
sitting by this peat bog fire
I was filled with overwhelming sadness.
In the smoke earth flame
saw your smile
again on Court watch.
It is engraved upon my heart.
Filled with joy of its memory
regardless
of
time.
Thank you.
Always,
Seonaidh
(Dapon Perks)
